GRAPE VARIETIES
80% Grenache, 10% Mourvèdre, 10% Syrah
TERROIR
The grapes come from our plots located south of the Saint Antonin locality. These plots are characterized by clay and silt soils resting on marl.
The average age of the vines is 40 years.
WINEMAKING
Hand-harvested with sorting in the vineyard.
Destemming to 80% then maceration for 12 to 15 days.
The wines are aged in concrete tanks and large oak casks for 9 months.
TASTING NOTES
Kirsch, blackberry, garrigue and floral aromas emerge from this medium-bodied Côtes du Rhône, with ripe tannins, a beautiful density and a beautiful finish.
FOOD AND WINE PAIRINGS
This wine will pair wonderfully with meats or dishes prepared with mild spices.
Consume within 5 years of bottling.
